The Els home. Petawawa

This bungalow in old downtown Petawawa came fraught with issues. Poor access, runaway house drainage, year-round shade and a poorly constructed hot-tub pad made for lots of work. We are very proud of the final result, which reflects the proportions of the house and provides effortless access between the house entrance, barbecue, outdoor room and hot-tub.

Note how the deck reflects the house, bringing a harmony to the overall design The original space never saw the sun so was damp and hard to negotiate.
This deck is built to entertain in style The approach from the road steps up twice only and takes drainwater away from the site
Lots of space provides lots of flexibility for this young family.
